Drapilux has revealed three new blackout fabrics – 170, 173 and 171 – that were developed with hotels in mind.
“The idea was to develop blackout fabrics which met both functional and aesthetic requirements in guestrooms,” comments Hubert Reinerman, the brand’s Head of Sales.
170 comprises 17 neutral shades. With its light structure, the block print fabric can be used on its own as well as in conjunction with curtains or other transparent items.
Thanks to a new printing method, the 173 blackout fabric can be used on both sides. The product width is ceiling height and comes in twelve different colours, of which five are neutral and seven are on-trend shades.
Rounding off the new range, 171 is a new floor-to-ceiling velour fabric characterised by a plush feel. The surface of the fabric has a soft pile, allowing for the fibres to be combed in any direction. Available in 33 colours, the focus is on both neutral and rich, bright shades, and the the textiles can be printed on with a bespoke design.
