Carnegie introduces Details Collection
Carnegie has introduced the new Details Collection, a new fabric range made from plant-based Xorel, the world’s first bio-based high performance interior fabric, with a reduced carbon footprint.
Xorel Details offers true textural relief through the use of bulkier yarns and denser weave structures bringing the material to life on the wall. Metallic colour blends combined with surface texture give vertical spaces increased impact.
The six styles of Details are offered in 49 color options. The primary end use is for panels, upholstered walls, moveable wall systems and headboards while two of the patterns Tangle and Twine can also be used for direct wall application.
Xorel is the premiere high performance, environmentally sound textile solution for commercial interiors. Woven from solution dyed polyethylene with some biobased content, Xorel is acoustically transparent, highly durable and easily cleanable.
Heather Bush, creative leader of the Xorel brand found inspiration in the interior designer’s creative process. She comments: “The designer’s eye is trained to focus on the smallest of details. An interior is a landscape of colour, pattern, texture and material; volume and scale; furniture, art and accessories. I strove to create this Xorel collection in the spirit of our clients focus on the little things; on the details.”
