Brokis’ Bamboo Forest has been designed by Fumie Shibata to bring an unusual lighting shape to any interior. With its varying design combinations and ability to hold its own as single-point accent lighting, its potential to elevate interior spaces is maximised.

The light draws inspiration from the vertical contours that rise up within strands of bamboo. Conceived of as a lighting feature that could bring a unique ambience to any space, the hand-sculpted glass forms a bamboo stalk complete with a nodal ring, at which point the material thickens, creating a soft accent in the form of subtle shadows. 

Different light compositions – which occur thanks to the varying types and positions of the nodes – allow for the transformation of interiors into a unique sanctuary complete with the soothing tranquillity of a natural bamboo forest.  Furthermore, the product’s connectors make it easy to rearrange the lights and create a refreshing new space whenever the mood strikes.

A striking piece in itself, the light is also able to function as a solitary structure, with its diffusor’s 90% transparency bending the light and adding new layers to interiors.

The lights in Brokis‘ Bamboo Forest collection are available in six different variations, and can be produced in either opaline, brown or light grey smoke glass.
