B.lux launches new lamp
Manufacturing brand B.lux has launched a new type of suspension lamp, Speers.
Designed by David Abad, the new design falls in line with the brand’s commitment to applying LED technology to decorative illumination. In addition to being installable as a single suspension lamp, surface-mounted or embedded, Speers comes with several accessories that allow for the creation of a lighting system presenting multiple configurations. In every case the lamp features high-luminance LEDs, which can be outfitted with concentrated optics, or with a laminated matte diffuser providing soft general illumination.
These lighting effects accentuate the materials that were used in the manufacturing of its 11cm shade, which is made from either copper or brass. In addition to being marketed in monochromatic finishes, with brushed interiors and glossy exteriors, B.lux has expanded the product’s colour selection which, in both cases, can include an exterior painted in black or matte white.
Presented at the latest edition of Euroluce trade show, the product belongs to the decorative lamp collection of the Basque brand, which has been producing designer lamps since 1980.
