Apaiser collaborates with Kelly Hoppen
International Australian bathware designer and manufacturer, apaiser has collaborated with English interior designer Kelly Hoppen to create the company’s first collaboration collection, Kelly Hoppen by apaiser launched in London on 5 February.
Specialising in luxury stone composite bathware, bathtubs, basins, vanities and shower bases, apaiser’s handcrafted stone bathware is renowned for its elegance, organic feel and sculptural lines. Fused with Kelly Hoppen’s distinctive design philosophy, a blend of curvaceous shapes and highly functional design is created.
The new collection includes layered designs such as Harmony that resembles the petals of a lotus flower, Origami that was inspired by the intricate Japanese art and the Bande, originally based on the Obi, a sash used in traditional Japanese dress.
“With my signature style and apaiser’s experience as one of the leading bathware designers, we have created a range that is both beautiful and unique,” commented Kelly Hoppen.
Formulated with optimum performance in mind, using reclaimed sustainable marble as its core, each piece has minimal impact on the environment yet does not compromise on quality.
Celebrating the East, the new collection of bathware presents beautifully simple designs that combine clean lines, complementary symmetry and neutral tones. Function and beauty combine to create sophistication, portraying purity and strength with soft lines and a Zen-like feel.
The result of the much-anticipated collaboration is a sublime blend of inspiring design aesthetic and a luxurious bathing experience, creating a truly 21st century collection.
