Allermuir launches Famiglia range
Furniture manufacturer Allermuir has launched the Famiglia range, a new family of handcrafted soft seating options suitable for both formal and informal environments.
The range is designed by PearsonLloyd and responds to the changing role of furniture in work and hospitality spaces. The series offers a selection of versatile stools, chairs and side tables in a number of style permutations.
The Famiglia range consists of:
Small armless chair:
With both meeting and working spaces in mind, this light and comfortable chair is compact in size to allow its users to cluster together comfortably when working collaboratively.
Mid black chair:
This soft shell chair caters for longer periods of seated activity where increased privacy is desired. Its proportions allow users support and space for repositioning within the chair.
High wing chair:
The high wing conference chair offers a higher degree of head support and more privacy in an open space. There is also the ability to support a fold-away multifunction tablet catering for left and right-handed users, allowing the chair to work efficiently in both solo or group settings.
Lounge chair:
Completing the range of seating, this chair nods to a more domestic landscape. The carefully contoured back and interior shell with a fixed headrest caters for a large range of uses in a variety of applications.
Side tables:
The Famiglia tables complement the seating range to offer occasional touch down and meeting point settings in both hospitality and break zones. The tables come in a variety of heights and shapes, with a slender design in line with the rest of the range.
Light work tables:
Famiglia tables have a similar soft shape to other members of the family, and are again available in a variety of sizes and heights. However, they also include a cable management and power supply system, which integrates with a range of desktop accessories.
All chairs are available with multiple base options, from sturdy to more dynamic tilt mechanisms.
Paul Hobson, Product & Design Director of Allermuir comments: “We have carefully considered different settings and applications to enable the Famiglia range to respond to differing demands on work and hospitality furniture. And this is where we see furniture design developing further as we recognise how dramatically the landscape has, and continues to, change.”
