Gettys appoints new senior managers

The Gettys Group has appointed Nicole Chan as Business Development Manager and Kevin Gildemeister as their new Senior Manager, Business Development Gettys ONE and Procurement.

Chan will focus on expanding and strengthening The Gettys Group’s client base and network within Asia from the Hong Kong office, while Gildemeister will lead business development for Gettys ONE and Procurement out of the Chicago office. These hires follow the appointment of Jennifer McGregor as the group’s Senior Business Director, Global Business Development in early 2015.

Chan has eight years of professional experience in the architectural and design industry, featuring extensive work in marketing and business development. Most recently, Chan worked as Director of Business Development and Client Services in the Asia Pacific market for DiLeonardi, and previously held roles at Aedas, WET Design and Gensler.

Chan’s specialised experience in graphic and brand design, specifically for hospitality and food and beverage operations, makes her a unique addition, says the group. In her new role, Chan will continue to expand and strengthen The Gettys Group client base and network within Asia, while focusing on initiating sales, generating leads, and forging new client relationships from the Hong Kong office.

Kevin Gildemeister brings more than 16 years of experience in the hospitality industry, the majority of those spent at American Hotel Register, the premier global hospitality supplier. Most recently, Gildemeister served as National Account Manager, where he was in charge of developing sales goals, budgets, and programs for multiple national hotel accounts.

Previously specialising in developing OS&E replenishment programs and FF&E renovation and replacement programs for large hotel chains, in his new role Gildemeister will be responsible for leading Gettys ONE and the firm’s procurement division out of the headquarters in Chicago.
