Poltrona Frau Group opens Dubai showroom
Poltrona Frau Group ME has launched its new Dubai showroom on Jumeirah Road, showcasing works by brands under the umbrella including Cappellini, Cassina and Poltrona Frau.
The two-storey building is characterised by a combination of stone and metal that reflects the shades of the surrounding area, whilst large windows facing out onto the main road allows natural light to pour in. Guests are greeted by a reception desk in bronzed brass with a marble top, set against a marble wall with the three brand logos behind.
90m² is dedicated to Cappellini, and sees the brand’s work sectioned off with black graphic elements including scenery flats and video walls, emphasising the unconventional shapes and finishes of the Vendome table and Orla sofa, amongst others. Elsewhere, the 270m² Cassina segment is spread across two floors and features areas divided by perforated 3D metal sheets and graphic anodised aluminium screens with vertical louvres. Ranges such as the LC Collection by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, Charlotte Perriand, and products like the Lady armchair by Marco Zanuso are displayed alongside newer designs including the Floe Insel and Beam Sofa Systems. Lastly, 340m² of Poltrona Frau space is inspired by the company’s showroom in Via Manzoni, Milan, where warm colours are fused with natural oak wood floors, and leather panel walls in light grey.
