Perkins+Will appoint Tom Hupe

Pringle Brandon Perkins+Will, the London office of global architecture and design firm Perkins+Will, continues its expansion in the UK and commitment to its clients across Europe and internationally with the appointment of Tom Hupe as Director of Hospitality.

Tom will work closely with Principal William Poole-Wilson and Design Director John Drew to expand the hospitality portfolio of the firm. He will manage and oversee hospitality projects; acting as a point of contact for operators and developers whilst providing specialist hotel consultancy, feasibility and design audit work.

Tom brings with him over 15 years’ experience of working in the hotel and leisure sector, where he’s been responsible for the design and project delivery of a diverse range of hotel projects alongside site feasibility studies and design audits.

William Poole-Wilson said: “Tom brings with him a wealth of experience that will enhance and strengthen our offer to clients in the hotel and leisure sector, as well as reinforce our commitment to the UK market.”

Tom’s previous projects include overseeing the conversion of Sea Containers House on the south bank of the River Thames into a 359 room Mondrian hotel for the Morgans Hotel Group, the delivery of the award winning luxury hotel at Coworth Park for the Dorchester Collection, as well as the 600-key Sofitel London Heathrow and the Marriott Hotel, Leicester.

Perkins+Will’s current hospitality work includes The Crowne Plaza, Mall of San Juan; Diplomatic Quarter Hotel and Residences, Riyadh; Kallas Porto Maravilha, Rio; Kempinski Hotel and Residences Sailtower, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; Marriott, San Juan, Puerto Rico and the Hilton Hotel, Al Ain, UAE.
