HKS expands team at London studio

HKS has announced the addition of interior designers Su Doggett and Carl Simmonds to its London studio.

Doggett has been named as Principal and Director of Hospitality Interiors, while Simmonds joins as Design Director of Hospitality Interiors. With these appointments, HKS will introduce interior design services to its London office alongside existing architectural, urban design, master planning and landscape design capabilities.

Both hold strong experience in designing and managing hospitality projects across the globe. Doggett has worked extensively throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia in charge of a variety of luxury hospitality projects including Four Season Bodrum, Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam and The St. Regis Osaka. Meanwhile, Simmonds has over 20 years of experience, working on a variety of newbuild hotel developments and listed renovations – most recently The Mandarin Oriental Jumeira Dubai, The Langham Hong Kong and The St. Regis Langkawi.

“At HKS, we believe in taking an integrated approach to interior design, bringing together other disciplines to create spectacular schemes for our clients around the world,” says Kevin Underwood, Head of Hospitality at HKS.

HKS’ London studio is currently working on several projects including Amaala, the development of three resorts on the Red Sea in Saudi Arabia, as well as hotels and resorts in Malta and Morocco.
