Henderson Park announces Principal
Henderson Park, the European real estate investment platform founded by Nick Weber, has announced the appointment of Neil Kirk as Principal, with responsibility for asset management of the business’ growing hotel portfolio.
Since its launch in September 2016, Henderson Park has established a high calibre investment team and, having built a significant European hotels portfolio, this is the business’ first appointment of a sub-sector expert, and follows its most recent acquisition of two flagship UK Hilton Metropoles, in London and Birmingham.
Kirk joins Henderson Park with over 12 years of experience investing in the European hotel sector, most recently as a director of Westmont Hospitality Group, the global hotel investor and manager, where he was directly involved in hotel investing, asset management, and driving operational initiatives across many of the Group’s assets. Kirk is a Chartered Accountant and started his career at KPMG.
Commenting on the appointment, Nick Weber, founding partner of Henderson Park, said: “Strong asset management is a fundamental part of what we do and is a key differentiator of Henderson Park’s business and investment strategy. As our track record shows, we see significant opportunity in the European hotel sector and Neil’s appointment is a clear demonstration of our commitment to ensuring we have the right people with the right skills in place to unlock value from our investments.
“I look forward to working with Neil and drawing on the wealth of specialist experience that he brings to Henderson Park as we get to work on the four significant hotel investments we hold in our portfolio.”
