James Lehouiller, CEO and Managing Partner of DiLeonardo, has announced that Jennifer Skaife has been newly appointed as the company’s Design Director, in keeping with the practice of promoting from within.

In her new role, Skaife will be responsible for overseeing the development of concept and design for international and domestic projects throughout DiLeonardo, including key design decision making and extensive client interaction. She will work closely with the partners to ensure all business goals and objectives are realised with a strategic vision. As an active member of the Global Management Team, she will set the tone for the design of projects and guide teams in the implementation of DiLeonardo’s design expectations.

Skaife has always worked closely with architects, engineers and other critical consultants, and firmly believes that an emphasis on the early integration of all disciplines leads to greater innovation in reaching exceptional design solutions. Her organisational and negotiation skills, combined with a strong design and aesthetic sensibility, have given her the opportunity to successfully lead design teams through challenging project demands, from concept through to construction.

Skaife takes on her new position with great enthusiasm, and says: “I am extremely honoured and excited at this point in my career to extend my passion for design into this new role.
