Masako Fukuoka, Director at architecture and design firm Creme

Crème welcomes new Director to NYC office

Architecture and design firm Crème has appointed Masako Fukuoka as Director. Based in the studio’s Brooklyn office, Fukuoka will support founder and Principal Jun Aizaki on global projects and operations.

Following a 20-year tenure at Jeffrey Beers International, most recently as Principal and Design Director, Fukuoka has a robust resume of hospitality design experience that includes landmark projects such as The Cove at Atlantis and One & Only Resort Palmilla. Sharing the unique pairing of a New York City-based interior designer with a Japanese background, she aligns perfectly with Crème’s talent profile and continued growth.

“I have admired Masako’s work for many years, and her arrival coincides with our growth in Japan,” says Aizaki. “We’re proud of the talent in our studio, and Masako’s addition will take us to the next level.”

Fukuoka adds: “There are many synergies that make this an exciting next step for me personally to reconnect with my roots. I look forward to working with Jun and the team to help Crème grow and reach their goals.”
