Constantina Tsoutsikou promoted

Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA) has announced the promotion of Constantina Tsoutsikou to Senior Associate at the group’s London studio. Tsoutsikou, who joined HBA in 2005, is noted as a key creative force at the agency, overseeing many of the London team’s most celebrated international projects.

Her new role brings increased responsibilities, including the development of the concepts that establish the direction for each project. In addition to designing and managing her own work, she will also draw upon her hospitality expertise to provide guidance for other HBA London colleagues.

Tsoutsikou’s talents have been honed over the years through work on destinations including Raffles Istanbul Zorlu Center, one of a number of award-winning spa projects she has designed and led. Further, her design of the acclaimed ESPA at The Europe in Killarney, Ireland, one of her first projects with HBA, continues to draw praise nearly a decade after its completion.

As the creative force behind the Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Tsoutsikou’s vision has been noted for its innovative approach, whilst more recently she envisioned the guestrooms at the Westin Excelsior Florence, which elegantly weave the palette and artistic inheritance of Tuscany with contemporary Italian influences.

Tsoutsikou began her career as a Designer for Estée Lauder’s beauty brands. She holds a BA (Hons) from the Technological Educational Institute in Athens, Greece, and an MA in the Built Environment, Interior Design, from University of the Arts London.

“I feel honoured to have been promoted within the HBA family,” she comments. “Our team is highly diverse, with creatives drawn not just from interiors, but with backgrounds in textile, product and industrial design, too. There’s a wonderful chemistry in our collaboration, yet it’s also a deeply personal journey. We not only create experiences, we build dreams – the settings for the most special celebrations and once-in-a-lifetime moments that become cherished memories for guests. I am very excited about this next chapter for our London studio.”

HBA London has several projects slated for completion in 2017 including Piramal Aranya, an exclusive new residential landmark in Mumbai designed by Tsoutsikou, and The Orient, the Isrotel brand’s first property in Jerusalem and part of its Exclusive Collection.
