Top Drawer returns to Olympia London
Top Drawer returned to Olympia London in January with a strengthened hospitality offering, welcoming a diversity of buyers, designers and specialist manufacturers from across the UK and Europe, and as far afield as Japan. Spread across 11 curated sectors, the three-day event saw more than 1,500 brands present their latest ranges to some of the sector’s most influential names.
Amongst those in attendance were Accor Hotels, Aerts, The Savoy Hotel, Marco Pierre White Restaurants, The Eclectic Collection, Rhubarb, Portmeirion Group, Opentrade Global, Millennium Hotels, Royal Collection Trust, First Restaurant Group, Nous Design, Claude Hooper, Sibyl Colefax & John Fowler, Milali Interiors, Kay Lear Design, National Portrait Gallery, London Cuisine, Nomadic, Buck’s Club, Universal Design Studio and Happy Place Design.
New to this year’s agenda was the Hospitality Trail – a curated route through the world’s of textiles, furniture and lighting. Amongst the brands included were Burton McCall, Sagafrom, Coach House, Broste Copenhagen, Bloomingville, Garden Trading, PR Home, Blomus and Black & Blum.
Elsewhere, the Design Talk seminar programme gave visitors access to trend analysis from key exponents of the craft, alongside informed presentations from hospitality specialists such as Constantina Tsoutsikou, Creative Director of HBA London, and Hannah Carter Owers, Director at Universal Design Studio.
Returning for the second year, the Table section of the show also presented leading brands such as Sango, Serax, Stelton, Alessi, David Mellor, Caverswall, Studio William, Elia International, LSA International, Canvas Home, Sue Pryke, Eva Solo and Pure Tabletop.
The next edition of Top Drawer will take place at Olympia London from 8-10 September 2019.
