Sleeper to host LDW talk

The hotel industry is set to take centre stage at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour this month as Sleeper hosts a session on hospitality design.

Forming part of the Conversations in Design series, the talk will address the need for multifunctional spaces for work, rest and play.

A panel of experts including Sharan Pasricha, the CEO of Ennismore who own The Hoxton, interior designer David d’Almada, who recently completed The Arts Club, and Tom Hupe, director of hospitality at Perkins+Will will discuss how hotels provide so much more than just a good night’s sleep.

Designers, architects and style-seekers will descend on the Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour from 13-18 March, where workshops, demonstrations and open showrooms are an essential part of the programme.

Other highlights include Kit Kemp, the creative force of Firmdale Hotels talking about her unique design approach; Bernie Gallagher, Chairman of the Doyle Collection discussing the evolution a world-renowned hospitality brand; and US design duo Madcap Cottage who will explore a love of pattern. There will also be a special installation by paper artist Zoe Bradley.
