Maison&Objet unveils January 2024 theme
Maison&Objet has announced that the theme of its January 2024 show will be Tech Eden.
The show, which will mark the 30th edition of the event, will take visitors on a journey that explores a place where technology and nature exist in harmony. Following on from the previous year’s theme of ‘Enjoy!’, January’s iteration will convey a dream-like optimism towards the future through shape and colour, focusing on a futuristic biophilia and a newly-imagined world of wellbeing.
This year’s theme of Tech Eden was devised in collaboration with creative strategy agency Peclers Paris, which sees it as an opportunity to “highlight the profound evolution in the relationship between science and nature, and project it into a sustainable and desirable future”.
Maison&Objet has also announced that Mathieu Lehanneur has been named ‘Designer of the Year 2024’. Each year, this award honours a key figure in the international design industry. During the January show, the designer will craft a dedicated space that reflects his research and career path, titled ‘Outonomy’.
