Interihotel details Barcelona 2023 programme
Hotel and restaurant design event Interihotel has given a first look into what guests can expect from its 2023 event in Barcelona.
Organised by AMBIT Living Spaces Cluster, the event’s theme is ‘the journey of change’, while its programme is organised around five key tenets. ‘Wonderful business’ focuses on interior design and customer experience, ‘Inside Out’ explores the design of indoor spaces that promote emotional and physical well-being, while ‘Regenerative Hospitality’ addresses the need to go beyond sustainability by regenerating local ecosystems. ‘New Materiality’ focuses on the search for more sustainable and environmentally friendly materials and, finally, ‘Brightech’ explores how the integration of artificial intelligence will affect the design industry in general and the hospitality sector in particular.
At Interihotel BCN23, these five themes will be addressed through conferences, workshops, brand exhibitions and interactive activities that will allow attendees to learn first-hand about the latest trends, solutions and tools for the design of hotel and restaurant spaces.
AMBIT’s Interiors Living Lab will be open for guests to explore at the event, including physical Concept Rooms and virtual reality experiences. Additionally, guests will be able to explore Capella-García Arquitectura’s Vitality Haven concept room, Francesc Rifé Studio’s Eco-Jin concept restaurant, and Holographic Virtual Reality concept rooms, developed by AMBIT.
This year’s event will also see 90 speakers taking to the stage, including Carme Pinós (Estudio Carme Pinós), Luis Gil and Lorenzo Gil (Plantea Estudio), Felipe Turell (Proyectos Conscientes) and Caroline Blanco (Atelier Luma).
