IFFS to launch new zones

International Furniture Fair Singapore has announced preliminary plans for its 2018 edition. Co-located with the ASEAN Furniture Show and Nook Asia, IFFS 2018 will take place at the Singapore Expo from 8 – 11 March.

New elements set to be unveiled at IFFS 2018 include the first augmented reality zone in the region, and three new national pavilions: Portugal, Spain and Turkey. These new stands will seek to engage visitors with showcases of furniture, interior lighting, finished home textiles, and decorative accessories such as pottery, high-end design tableware, and cutlery, whilst the augmented reality zone will offer innovate design possibilities through technology.

Combining traditional elements and new features, visitors can expect a range of innovative designs, furnishings, interiors and fittings throughout, with IFFS committed to creating a show experience that incorporates technology, celebrates design and facilitates connections.

The event functions as a prominent trade gateway to Asia and beyond, and IFFS 2018 expects to welcome international exhibitors from over 30 countries as well as over 20,000 trade professionals.

Ernie Koh, Chairman of IFFS, comments: “IFFS is an internationally-renowned sourcing platform that serves as the strategic springboard for leading companies looking to penetrate the global market, and both exhibitors and buyers are encouraged to use the upcoming edition to spark conversations, strengthen relationships and forge partnerships.”
