EHDA 2016 judging panel announced
The judges for the European Hotel Design Awards 2016 are acknowledged industry leaders, who represent a wide spectrum of the disciplines involved in delivering new hotel projects.
Representatives from the continent’s leading hotel companies, architectural practices and interior design firms join respected consultants, journalists, and suppliers to ensure a range of views are involved in the selection process for the finalists and winners.
The 2016 judging panel includes:

- Ann-Marie Ekroth – Founder & Partner, Koncept Stockholm
- Jason Holley – Director, Universal Design Studio
- Javier Hortal – Regional Director of Technical Services EMEA, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group
- Tom Hupe – Director of Hospitality, Perkins+Will
- Martin Jones – Vice President, Food & Beverage Europe, FRHI Hotels & Resorts
- Serdar Kutucu – Vice President, Brand, Marketing & Communications, Design Hotels
- Cristina Laurijssen – Director of Design & Project Services, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts
- Catherine Martin – Editor, Sleeper
- Matthew Seal – Senior Interior Design Director, Marriott International
- Maria Vafiadis – Founder, MKV Design
The judging process has been developed to ensure a rigorous, robust and balanced procedure is followed to select the final winners in each category.
Winners will be announced at the European Hotel Design Awards ceremony on Monday 21 November 2016.
