Downtown Design, taking place between 8-12 November, will return to its purpose-built venue at the d3 Waterfront in Dubai Design District.

Downtown Design’s return to a full, live and in-person fair is set to capture an important moment of rejuvenation and opportunity in the Middle Eastern design market as Dubai-based interior designers and architects enjoy a post-pandemic boom.

The fair will be hosting brands from over 20 countries as well as major national representations from European countries including Italy, Spain and France, and the largest exhibition of limited edition and collectable design to date.

Downtown Design have recently invited UAE and GCC based specifiers with significant current or upcoming interior design projects in the GCC to apply to the fair’s unique hosted “Trade Connect” programme.

The itinerary includes tours of Dubai Expo, private hosted lunches and dinners, pre-arranged 1-2-1 business meetings with Downtown Design exhibitors and talks and receptions hosted by prominent international designers and architects including Micael Calatrava, CEO of Santiago Calatrava LLC, Sebastian Herkner, Founder of Sebastian Herkner Design and Elliott Barnes, Founder of Elliott Barnes Interiors.

The programme is open to senior interior designers and architects that are working on significant design projects in the GCC and who play a significant role in specifying products and solutions for these projects.
