Cameron Design House details LDF collaboration
As part of London Design Festival in September, British lighting brand Cameron Design House has teamed up with Los Angeles-based balloon artist Geronimo to create a unique, immersive light installation in the heart of Shoreditch.
Bringing together Cameron Design House’s signature aesthetic of balancing contemporary lines and ambient lighting with the artistry of Geronimo’s balloon sculptures, the installation is set to explore the contrasting themes of temporary versus timeless and organic versus engineered, using the hand-blown glass Helmi chandelier alongside a bespoke balloon sculpture to present an explosion of colour and creativity.
“Renowned for bringing the global design community together, London Design Festival is the perfect place to partner with likeminded artists to create something new and exciting,” comments Ian Cameron, founder and Creative Director of Cameron Design House. “A shared focus on simplicity and showmanship, evident in both our Helmi chandelier and the work of Geronimo, inspired the nature of our first collaborative installation. We can’t wait to reveal it to the design world this September.”
