BDNY expands exhibition space

Attendee registration is now open for Boutique Design New York (BDNY), the East Coast trade fair and conference for hospitality design professionals. Taking place from 12-13 November at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Centre, the eighth edition of BDNY will see the show expand its exhibition space to 125,000ft² and welcome approximately 7,800 professionals from the eastern United States, Canada and Europe.

Set to feature over 700 manufacturers and marketers of furniture, fixtures, lighting, seating, wall coverings, accessories and other design elements for hospitality interiors, the show will be attended by interior designers, architects and purchasing executives as well as hospitality owners and operators.

“BDNY continues to be on growth trajectory, a testament to the support of the hospitality community and our customer base,” comments Michelle Finn, president of Hospitality Media Group (HMG), which produces BDNY and sister trade fair BDwest.

Held concurrently with HX: The Hotel Experience, the BDNY trade fair combines inventive elements for hospitality interiors with signature educational and social events; NYC design tours; unique, on-floor Designed Spaces created by leading hospitality design firms; and an extensive conference program with CEU sessions, hands-on demos and interactive discussions with industry innovators.

Events taking place throughout the show include the ISHP Annual Fundraiser and the BDNY Opening Reception on 11 November; the Boutique Design Power Players: Women Leaders in Hospitality Breakfast & Panel Discussion on 13 November from 9:00-10:30am at The Javits Convention Centre; and the 37th Gold Key Awards Gala on 13 November from 6:30-10:00pm at Gotham Hall.
