100% Design announces leading names

As part of the London Design Festival, 100% Design will celebrate its 21st edition in a brand new home, Olympia London on 23-26 September.

This year’s event is based upon a central theme – Design In Colour – working closely with trend forecasters WGSN among many others. Over 400 UK and international designers and companies will be exhibiting at the show, with the total number of exhibitors is expected to rise. Five industry sections will return to the show, of which Kitchens & Bathrooms, Workplace and Design & Build will present innovative ideas and the latest technology for those specialist sectors.

Addressing the demand for high-end design solutions, Kitchens & Bathrooms is set to demonstrate quality innovation across components, materials, equipment and effective use of space. The ever-strong line up consists of newcomers such as antoniolupi and Bette, and existing exhibitors including Keramag Design and LG Hausys – HI-MACS.

100% Design’s Workplace is the only dedicated workplace design show in the UK, featuring all aspects of commercial design for the sector, including seating, electronic innovations, acoustic panels, lighting and flooring. Returning to the show is Swiss manufacturer Vitra, launching its new Hack table system, while Muirhead Leather will present its high performance, low carbon leather.

Mobile tech expert Aircharge will come to 100% Design with its new mobile application. The latest offering enables users to easily locate a public location that provides wireless charging, compatible with the Wireless Power Consortium.

Sponsored by Formica, Design & Build aims to offer a central resourcing point for the architecture and design community with a comprehensive list of leading brands. Alongside new exhibitor Formica, Gira will return with the new Gira G1 intelligent central operating unit for the building technology, operated by touching or gesturing on the multi-touch display.

Designed by British design studio, Mette, the 2015 design commission for Design & Build is names Mattergarden, conceived as an interactive environment to inspire conversation and engagement amongst visitors. This will be Mette’s third consecutive commissioned project for 100% Design. A dedicated architectural lighting showcase will also be the highlight of D&B, featuring the latest designs from Segula, LED Flex and A’a Glass presented by Nude Deigns.
