First look renderings have revealed details of what is in store for Conrad’s debut in Germany. 

Operator MHP and Hilton have also announced that Conrad Hamburg will open its doors in September 2025.  

The property will find home in the historic Levantehaus building in the heart of Hamburg. 1508 London have been tasked with breathing new life into the rooms and suites, as well as an array of amenities that include nine conference rooms, a lounge bar, restaurant with private dining rooms and a whisky lounge. Wellness facilities meanwhile are set to comprise a spa, fitness centre and 20m indoor pool. 

“Our team delved deeply into the heritage of architect Franz Bach and explored his musical and architectural influences,” says Leo Bertacchini, Design Principal at 1508 London. “In tribute to his work, we incorporated playful, elegant and romantic touches – similar to notes on a music sheet. This has created a harmonious homage that runs through all the rooms.” 

Dr. Jörg Frehse, CEO of MHP, adds: “With Conrad Hamburg, we are creating an exceptional hotel that combines the historic architecture of the Art Nouveau building with contemporary luxury. In the heart of one of Europe’s most dynamic metropolises, the hotel will not only pay tribute to the history of the Hanseatic city of Hamburg, but will also captivate guests from across the globe.”
