K-Studio designs Royal Hideaway Corales Villas in Tenerife
A new hospitality offer is set to land in Tenerife as Royal Hideaway Corales Villas opens its doors in March 2025.
The 139-key hotel occupies a prime position on the island’s ‘Royal Road’, set against a backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean and volcanic peaks.
A tranquil retreat overlooking the Costa Adeje golf course, Royal Hideaway Corales Villas comprises a range of suites, many with kitchens and swim-up or private infinity pools, as well as two-bedroom and three-bedroom villas.
Design by K-Studio is inspired by Tenerife’s volcanic beauty, with sleek minimalist interiors incorporating a neutral colour palette that reflects the rugged landscape of the island and the nearby Teide National Park. Expansive windows and sliding doors seamlessly blend indoor and outdoor living, allowing the natural beauty of the island to flow in.
Two restaurants offer sophisticated dining options. Bonfire is an all-day dining restaurant with 360° island views, where an expansive open kitchen – the largest in Tenerife – makes for a theatrical display. Crater, meanwhile, is a destination dining restaurant serving two curated set menus that take inspiration from the Canary Islands, each paying homage to a different island.
The hotel’s wellness centre features a gym, sauna, yoga patio, grounding area and four treatment rooms that can be connected to suit groups. Beyond the wellness centre, the main pool provides panoramic views of the ocean, mountains and the neighbouring golf course.
In line with Barceló Hotels & Resorts’ global sustainability commitment, Barceló Regen, Royal Hideaway Corales Villas prioritises environmentally conscious practices throughout, including the use of energy-efficient lighting, green roofs that support natural irrigation and thermal insulation, and the use of local limestone for wall cladding, all designed to reduce the property’s environmental impact.
