Freifrau offers new iterations of Marie armchair
Freifrau has expanded Marie, its classic armchair range, to include a new lounge version.
The Freifrau Marie chair was developed by Hoffmann Kahleyss Design and first presented in 2023. Now, the latest lounge iteration sees its comfort enhanced by an integrated rocker-tilt mechanism operated using a lever.
The armchair is characterised by loose upholstery on its backrest, which is held in place by a filigree tubular steel frame. The bracket is detached from the statics of the frame, which is based on a central column with a cross base. The new design is complemented by a matching footstool.
The frames of the armchair and ottoman are available in all Double-Brand colours, and a wide selection of textiles can be used for the upholstery.
Another new addition is the Marie chair without armrests, as well as a new edition with a wooden frame.
