Egger joining forces with Cleaf and Blum to open new London showroom
Egger, Cleaf and Blum are uniting to open a joint showroom experience in London’s design district this autumn 2024.
The three family-owned companies are set to take up residence on Clerkenwell’s Dallington Street. Led by Egger, the partnered space has been envisioned as a hub of design inspiration and material education for architects, interior designers and specifiers from across the globe. The showroom is set to combine the materials of the three brands in an immersive display and working space.
Egger is a global manufacturer of a wide portfolio of materials for the interior design, furniture and construction industries, including decorative faced panels, lacquered panels, laminates, edging, worktops, decorative flooring and structural flooring. Now operating from 22 plants internationally, Egger materials are specified, fabricated and installed worldwide in multiple sectors, including hospitality, cruise ship and residential.
Cleaf meanwhile is an Italian company producing surfaces for furniture and interiors, founded in 1975 by the Caspani family. Building on a decades long relationship between the owning families, Egger and Caspani, the two companies commenced joint projects in 2019, with the Egger family now owning 27.5% of Cleaf.
The final part of the trio, Blum is a global manufacturer of fittings and technical solutions for furniture and interiors, leading the manufacture of products including hinge systems, runners, lift systems and motion technologies.
The showroom will open its doors temporarily for a preview at Clerkenwell Design Week, showcasing new products, and holding a series of talks, workshops and networking events.
