A new development is in the works in Atlanta, set to include a 196-key boutique hotel operated by Philadelphia hospitality firm Method Co.
Developed in partnership with New City Properties, Forth Atlanta will open in June 2024, additionally comprising four F&B concepts, an outdoor pool, fitness centre and members’ club.
New City Properties acquired 11 acres of property in the Old Fourth Ward neighbourhood in 2018, with constructing beginning in July 2020. Morris Adjmi Architects (MA), Forth Atlanta’s architect and interior designer, worked collaboratively with New City and Method Co to create the new destination. The building features a striking cast-in-place diagrid façade, with rich and tailored interiors providing a warm counterpoint to the modern concrete exterior.

The Forth Hotel will debut as Atlanta’s newest luxury boutique hotel. Designed by MA in collaboration with Method Studios, Forth’s common spaces and guestrooms draw inspiration from contemporary European design and early Americana traditions. Features such as handmade wooden furniture, layered fabrics and textures, vintage pieces and curated objects imbue the hotel with a charming sense of place. The hotel will feature 39 apartment-style spaces in addition to its guestrooms.
