Six Senses Southern Dunes, The Red Sea begins welcoming guests

Six Senses Southern Dunes, The Red Sea has officially opened its doors, marking the first opening in the initial phase of development at The Red Sea.

Set in the heart of the Saudi Arabian Alnesai desert, the property sees nature and Nabataean tradition meet luxury. Six Senses‘ trademark wellness formula is also embodied via a 4,000ft² spa, set over two floors and offering six treatment rooms, a gym, two pools, a pool bar and panoramic desert views.

Beyond the spa, guest activities include everything from stargazing excursions with local astrologers to cooking classes and fishing tours on the waters of The Red Sea. The resort’s five restaurants offer plenty of variety too, from a gelato parlour to the fine-dining Al Sarab eatery.

As with all Six Senses properties, the design and operations take a nature-first approach, with Six Senses Southern Dunes aiming to be the first LEED Platinum resort in Saudi Arabia. Setting new standards in sustainability, its electricity is powered entirely by its very own solar farm.
