Sleeper Media announces strategic investment in publisher of Hotel Analyst
Sleeper Media, the market-leading publisher and event organiser for the international hospitality design industry, has today announced a strategic investment in ZeroTwoZero Communications Ltd, the owner of Hotel Analyst and the Operational Real Estate Festival.
The move aims to consolidate Hotel Analyst’s position as the leading news analysis service for investors in hospitality and to provide further resources to grow the newly launched Operational Real Estate Festival.
Matt Turner, Editor-in-Chief of Sleeper Media, said: “This investment allows us to explore the synergies between both businesses and provide the backing needed to grow a range of opportunities at ZeroTwoZero Communications and at Sleeper Media.”
Andrew Sangster, Managing Director of ZeroTwoZero Communications, added: “Sleeper Media offers the financial resources, commercial connections and creativity to support us in taking the OpRE Festival into its next stage of development. I believe this partnership will offer many other opportunities, too.”
Hotel Analyst has a pedigree dating back more than two decades servicing the information needs of investors in the hospitality industry and the associated investment advisory community, alongside a long-standing editorial partnership with Sleeper.
The Operational Real Estate Festival, which held its second in-person event last month in London, is a conference focused on investors and operators in operational real estate sectors such as hospitality, build-to-rent, student housing and elder living.
Sleeper Media publishes Sleeper Magazine (Global Hotel Design); Supper Magazine (Global Hotel F&B) and Starboard – a new publication for the next generation of cruise ships and mobile hospitality models. It is also the organiser of AHEAD – the Awards for Hospitality Experience and Design; and Sleeper Sessions – a nomadic, next-generation meetings forum for suppliers and specifiers of FF&E.
THP (TopHotelProjects), the leading global hotel pipeline database, has been part of the Sleeper Media portfolio since acquisition in August 2022, following an initial investment made in July 2019.
