A Grade II-listed house surrounded by 3,000 acres of parkland, Estelle Manor is the latest hospitality addition to rural Oxfordshire. The property – the brainchild of Sharan Pasricha – sees interiors brought to life by Roman & Williams, Olivia Weström and AIME Creative Studios, as well as Artistic Director Eiesha Bharti Pasricha.
The Manor House emerges through an oak tree-lined driveway, housing a number of guestrooms alongside a living room and library. 108 guestrooms across the estate – available in designs that range from opulent suites, to bohemian-styled woodland cottages – have been designed with vintage furnishings pitched against 20th century pieces and warm, layered lighting. An all-day dining brasserie and a traditional Chinese restaurant also find home in the Manor House, while its cave cellar boasts a collection of over 5,000 bottles curated by Sommelier Matteo Montone.
Stepping out through the living room’s central bay, guests arrive at the South Terrace, a Riviera-inspired space that brings together an outdoor pool, loungers and a bar. The hotel’s Brasserie, providing views over its grounds, includes an orangery and terrace space, with hand-painted motifs scattered across the walls alongside original wood panelling. Billiards Room meanwhile serves up a menu of traditional Chinese dishes with a backdrop of limed plaster walls, serpent-shaped velvet banquettes in shades of Malachite green and Murano glass chandeliers. Surrounded by a walled garden, The Glasshouse is the hotel’s lush greenhouse restaurant. Filled with eclectic blooms and fabric lanterns hanging overhead, the all-day working kitchen has an open fire and an oversized, reclaimed-marble island, while the menu spotlights sharing, family-style dining.
To the east of the estate sits The Clubhouse – originally a racquets court and gymnasium and now the members hub of the manor – comprising a gym, on-site retail store and a soon-to-open George Northwood salon.
The final addition to Estelle Manor is set to launch in autumn 2023. Eynsham Baths will be a 3,000m² Roman-inspired spa, complete with sculpted columns and carved marble details. The spa includes a vast tepidarium bathing hall, five pools, a lounge, ten treatment rooms, and an open-air hideaway and bar – complete with hidden pool and waterfall.
