Omni Tucson National Resort has announced the completion of its multi-million dollar transformation, which sees a redesign of its luxury accommodations, F&B and spa offerings, as well as a refresh of its lobby and meeting spaces.

Nestled in the foothills of Arizona’s Santa Catalina Mountains, the resort’s surroundings are the inspiration for its new design. Following renovation, the property’s Deluxe and Premier guestrooms have been revitalised with a bright and modern Southwestern residential feel, while 51 Casitas and Hacienda Suites now offer a more private experience, with secluded patios offering views over the resort’s surrounding golf courses.

Beyond the redesigned accommodations, a relaxed ambiance permeates the entire resort. Spaces across the property draw on the colours of the surrounding desert landscape, with a palette that reflects the scenery’s day-to-night transformation.

“This long-anticipated renovation marks a whole new era for Omni Tucson National Resort,” says General Manager Michael Maruca. “The entire property has been transformed, inside and out. Guests will be blown away by our Casitas and Hacienda Suites and we cannot wait to welcome visitors and locals alike to experience our new Mokara Spa and differentiated dining outlets.”

A fully reimagined dining experience comprises three new restaurant and lounge concepts, several refreshed spaces, as well as local favourites like Bob’s Steak & Chop House – the Arizona outpost of the Texas staple. Design highlights across the fresh F&B outlets include outdoor seating overlooking the Sweet Water pool and mountain views at The Peak, and art and memorabilia that pay homage to golf course design at Legends Bar & Grill.

Jonathan Stutzman, Executive Chef comments: “The reimagination of Omni Tucson National Resort has put food at the forefront so that more memories around the table will be made. The additions of Desert Farmer, The Peak and Terra Cotta Café to our existing Bob’s Steak & Chop House, Legends and Sweet Water Terrace give us the opportunity to offer a quintessential experience of the Sonoran Southwest from a true culinary perspective all over the property.”

Further amenities include the addition of Mokara Spa, Omni Hotels & Resorts’ signature wellness offering. Designed with organic and earthy touches, the 9,000 ft² facility comprises 12 treatment rooms, a sauna and Vichy shower room. Meanwhile, more than 25,000 ft² of indoor and outdoor meeting space has been remodelled, now boasting plenty of natural light, banquet facilities, linenless meeting tables and banquet chairs. Thirteen unique meeting spaces include the 2,870 ft² Papago Ballroom and the Norville Lawn, the resort’s largest outdoor space, spanning 6,000 ft².
