David Collins Studio designs new wing for Beverly Wilshire
Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel has announced it is in the midst of a refurbishment project, with newly refreshed guestrooms and suites in the Beverly Wing set to be introduced by summer 2022.
Designed by David Collins Studio, the spaces will offer hints of drama and old Hollywood glamour – think soft pastels that represent Rodeo Drive luxury – with a contemporary twist. The scheme takes cues from British designer Syrie Maugham’s 1934 white drawing room, which utilised mirror and shades of ivory.
“Beverly Wilshire is a landmark hotel, with a variety of room styles that have evolved over many eras,” says Simon Rawlings, Creative Director at David Collin Studio. “The vision that we created with Four Seasons brings the suites in line with the brand, location and level of luxury expected from the hotel’s guests.”
Peter Humig, Regional Vice President and General Manager at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, comments on the refurbishment: “Beverly Wilshire has bestowed upon so many, over 94 years of life, passion and memories. It’s only fitting that we breathe some love and life back into her with these exciting projects.”
