The Standard, Ibiza
Following the hugely successful launch of The Standard, London, the brand has opened its doors in Ibiza. Conceived by Spanish creator Lázaro Rosa-Violán, with interiors designed by The Standard’s in-house design team, the main hotel design celebrates the uncomplicated sophistication of Ibizan life; fifty-three rooms and suites occupy the streamlined, white hotel — a stark style statement attuned to nearby centuries of sun-bleached masonry. Likewise, soft materials convey a sense of calmness and comfort for guests stepping in from the town, and layering and pattern work achieved using different textures and colours, coupled with the clever shadow play of plants, add to the warm and familiar ambiance.

Chateau Denmark
London has welcomed its latest boutique hotel, Chateau Denmark. Spread across 16 characterful buildings in and around Denmark Street, a street often referred to as the birthplace of the British music scene, the hotel boasts a design narrative by London-based design practice Taylor Howes, imagining a time where “punk rock and vintage gothic meet modern psychedelia with a timeless grandeur”.

Hard Rock New York
Hard Rock Hotel New York offers a backstage pass to the city’s historic Music Row, honouring its legacy through intricate design, curated amenities, and award-winning guest experiences. Spearheaded by award-winning design firm Jeffrey Beers International, the artistic expression of music is layered in meticulous detail throughout every area of the hotel. In each space, the guest discovers a design or sculptural homage to music, such as guitars and brass wind instruments, or to music notes and sound waves. Bold materials include lush dark woods, striking marbles, luxurious brass finishes, and tactile leather and velvet fabrics.

ON Residence
A true seafront jewel in the heart of Thessaloniki, ON Residence is exemplar of the city’s eclecticism during the interwar period, with elements reminiscent of the Belle Époque and neoclassicism. Architects Nikiforidis and Cuomo undertook the design of the surrounding communal areas, while the office of Nikos Fletoridis was responsible for the architectural study. Meanwhile, the interior design was done by French decorator Fabienne Spahn, who wanted to give a renewed classic Art Deco style to the project, enriching it with a discreet luxury that matched the character of the building.
