Carlos Virgile launches CV Design and Brands
Having departed from his association with Imagination Group and taken a step back from his role as Principal of Virgile + Partners, Carlos Virgile has launched a new consultancy aiming to offer his creative input and independent advice to retail and hospitality luxury brands in the field of design and brand positioning.
The idea behind CV is to offer a more flexible format in the way of client relationships and how projects are developed. It intends to alter the traditional agency mould by the personal integration of a creative insight into the process of design. As such, Virgile will work in direct partnership with brand management and their teams on the origination of new ideas and concepts, in addition to the process of development and delivery.
Virgile is a well-known creative with a long trajectory in the design of commercial environments in retail, restaurants and hotel projects. His international portfolio includes brands such as Ritz Carlton, Andaz, Oberoi and LVMH, together with Burberry, Tiffany & Co, Harrods, Yves St. Laurent and Svarowski to name but a few.
Many of Virgile’s projects and articles on design, as well as his expertise in the transformation of the luxury market, have been published through the years via print and digital platforms. In 2020, Rizzoli New York published ‘A Creative Inventory’ – a monograph delving into Virgile’s 30-year spell at his eponymous firm.
