The Fifth Avenue Hotel to arrive in 2022
The Fifth Avenue Hotel will debut in Q1 2022 in New York’s NoMad neighbourhood on 28th and Fifth Avenue.
The forthcoming opening comprises both the complete renovation of a 116-year-old building – once the home of Gilded Age socialite, Charlotte Goodridge, and the Second National Bank – together with the development of a new 24-storey glass tower adjacent to the original structure. The property will combine to form one luxe hotel with 153 guestrooms split between The Mansion Guestrooms and The Tower Guestrooms.
Operated by Flâneur Hospitality, a new concept by real estate entrepreneur Alex Ohebshalom that focuses on tailoring the guest experience to foster curiosity and engagement, the hotel will feature interiors centred on three main themes – The Collector, Romanticism and a return to Classicism – all inspired by the historic building’s history as one of the last mansions of The Gilded Age and former home of the Goodridge family.
