German manufacturer Bette has announced that 18 of its freestanding baths are now available in Ebony, a new matte black colour created to complement the use of darker tones in the bathroom.

The baths range from the BetteLux and BetteStarlet to the BetteArt, together with some that are designed to be positioned against a wall or into the corner of a smaller space.

As with all Bette baths, those featuring the Ebony finish are made from glazed titanium-steel, come with a 30 year warranty and are 100% recyclable. They are also durable and easy to clean thanks to the glass-hard surface, which makes it difficult for dirt and bacteria to adhere.

In addition, the tubs are unaffected by chemicals, a naked flame or hot wax of a candle, allowing operators can keep them looking their best. The surface is UV-resistant too, meaning the elegance of the matte black colour remains unaltered over the years.
