Burgess Furniture has introduced new contemporary screens to help hotels adhere to social distancing rules once they reopen their doors.
The brand’s 360 Divide and SplitScreen products were originally designed to partition rooms or add privacy; now, the pieces offer the hospitality industry a chance to follow government guidelines without compromising on style.
Available in a choice of upholstery and finishes, each panel is covered in soft, high-quality material to add intimacy and warmth whilst helping to reduce noise.
“These are challenging times for the industry, but we’re doing all we can to help hotels adapt yet retain their charm,” says Jeremy Burgess, Managing Director of Burgess Furniture. “We want guests to feel calm and relaxed during their stay, ensuring their safety. Our range of modern screens tick all the boxes and provide separation where needed.”
Inspired by pebble beaches, 360 Divide is a playful screen designed for casual seating areas and collaborative spaces. As its name suggests, it spins a full 360 degrees on its elliptical steel base and central axis, making it Burgess’ most flexible screen yet.
SplitScreen, meanwhile, is an elegant and contemporary single screen designed to break up larger rooms or hide unsightly cabling or catering equipment during functions. Featuring a dual panel, it can be customised to match any interior or create a contrast to add a striking feature.
Crafted from a robust but lightweight steel frame, SplitScreen can be connected with other screens and easily moved around on castors fixed to a solid ash base bar, which is available in three colours: natural, walnut and charcoal.
