Italian manufacturer Bonaldo has teamed up with multidisciplinary firm Seidel+Architekten to furnish Laurichhof in Pirna, Germany. Located in Saxony close to the Ore mountains and Elbe river, just a few kilometres from Dresden and Prague, the hotel offers a unique experience: during their stay, guests can try out the objects that furnish and decorate their accommodation and, if they wish, they can buy them. A range of Bonaldo furniture was chosen for the 27 guestrooms, each named in accordance with their individual style, from the ‘Palazzo de Medici’ suite to the ‘Unter dem Meer’ room and ‘Marrakech’ apartment.

Big in Japan

The Big in Japan apartment pays tribute to the Japanese culture, with Bonaldo’s Squaring bed forming an island reminiscent of the native concept of ‘tatami’. Elsewhere, the May bookcase is the only furnishing element in the hallway and the brightly coloured Kernel poufs and April bookcase create a relaxing oasis.
