AHEAD Asia, the Awards for Hospitality Experience and Design, has revealed its winners in an online webcast ceremony via the AHEAD website.
“We were sadly unable to host our award ceremony as originally planned at Andaz Singapore, due to the coronavirus, but of course the health and safety of our guests is paramount,” comments Matt Turner, AHEAD Awards Director and Editor-in-Chief of Sleeper Media.
“We remain committed to celebrating the best in hospitality experience and design, so we took the opportunity to try something new and host our first ever awards webcast. We look forward to hosting a follow-up event for our AHEAD community in Asia this September.”
From a series of lodges set across Bhutan’s striking landscape, to the eagerly anticipated return of a colonial-era icon in Singapore, the winners of each category demonstrate the very best in hotel experience and design across the region.
The judging panel, made up of industry leading hoteliers, designers, architects and experts, chose the winners based on guest experience, aesthetic quality and commercial feasibility.
The webcast will be followed by a celebratory event on Monday 7 September at Andaz Singapore, where the Outstanding Contribution and AHEAD Asia Hotel of the Year award winners will be revealed. All sponsors, nominees and judges are invited to this event, for which all tickets held for the ceremony will be valid.
