Dominvs Group has announced The City of London Corporation’s Planning and Transportation Committee’s approval for its Citicape House development.

The 11-storey mixed-use development, to be built in Holborn, will stand out for its façade covered in a 3,700sqm living wall which is expected to be the largest in Europe. The wall, made up of a mix of plants, will generate approximately seven tonnes of oxygen in a year and extract nine tonnes of CO2 annually among other benefits.

Designed by architecture practice Sheppard Robson, the development will include a 382-bed hotel with a restaurant and bar, as well as 3,741sqm of office space. There will also be a landscaped public roof terrace with views to some of London’s most iconic landmarks including St. Paul’s Cathedral.
