The Biltmore, Mayfair is set to open as LXR Hotels & Resorts first UK property, following an agreement between Hilton and Millennium & Copthorne Hotels. The luxury hotel, situated in the heart of Mayfair on Grosvenor Square, will open in spring 2019 and marks the new brand’s European debut.

Following its closure in July 2018, the property has undergone a multi-million-pound redevelopment, with Goddard Littlefair designing 257 guestrooms, many with views over Grosvenor Square, as well as 51 suites, which will reflect the property’s origin as a sophisticated private residence.

The Biltmore, Mayfair will also boast new culinary concepts headed by internationally-renowned chefs, an all-year round alfresco terrace, an exclusive cocktail bar and a large Gym-Tech fitness suite. In addition, the hotel will showcase a 500m² ballroom for large-scale events and weddings, with capacity for up to 700 guests. For smaller functions, the Waterloo and Manhattan Suites can cater for up to 100 guests, while the Kendal Suite lends itself to small groups of 25 guests or boardroom meetings.

Last year, the LXR collection welcomed its maiden hotel in Dubai at Habtoor Palace, a 234-key luxury property situated on Sheikh Zayed Road.
