Kempinski Hotels has announced the opening of Emerald Palace Kempinski Dubai. Set within 100,000m², the Palace lies on the West Crescent of Palm Jumeirah, giving it panoramic views of both the sea and city skyline.

Flanked by 500m of private sandy beach, the property comprises 391 guestrooms, suites and villas, eight restaurants and bars, a 3,000m² Cinq Mondes spa and the largest private cinema on Palm Jumeirah.

Inspired by European palaces of old, the building has been designed with neoclassical architecture in mind. Five striking Palladian domes form the silhouette of the property, while eight marble columns in the grand atrium are pieced together using Rosa Portogallo, or pink Portuguese marble.

Craftsmen have used the handpicked materials from Italy, France and across Europe to create the striking chandelier made from 40,000 Swarovski crystals in the grand atrium, as well as an ornate ballroom accented with damask silk tapestries and a Blüthner Supreme Edition Louis XIV grand piano in the Blüthner Hall.

Upstairs, guestroom sizes start at 65m² – one of the largest lead-in room categories on Palm Jumeirah – and feature regal décor, a lounge area, polished marble bathrooms and an expansive balcony with views across the gardens, Arabian Gulf or Palm Lagoon.

The Presidential, Royal and Mezzanine Suites are home to floor-to-ceiling windows, freestanding bathtubs and separate lounge areas, while a collection of ten stand-alone four-bedroom Royal and Imperial Villas are positioned in the gardens adjacent to the shoreline and have their own rooftop pool, Jacuzzi and spa room. Guests in all room categories benefit from a 24-hour dedicated butler service.

Emerald Palace Kempinski Dubai also offers a collection of eight dining options. Blüthner Hall serves a High Tea Collection consisting of five experiences inspired by iconic 18th century classical composers. Opening in December, meanwhile, miX by Alain Ducasse will mark the first restaurant in the UAE for the three Michelin-starred chef and the largest in his restaurant group, and will feature a sixth floor rooftop with al fresco dining.

Completing the F&B offer is European-inspired all-day dining restaurant Le Jardin; Pan-Asian steakhouse Matagi; Italian eatery All’onda, developed in partnership with famed chef Chris Jaeckle; Mediterranean restaurant Villamoré; pool and beach bar Sablanc; and Skorpeus, a nightclub, lounge and live music venue that also opens in December.

Elsewhere, the 3,000m² Cinq Mondes Spa is complete with 23 treatment rooms, two private spa suites and a large indoor pool. There’s also a 24-hour wellness club with Technogym equipment, personal training and a wealth of water sports and recreational activities. Other amenities include an outdoor pool, 18-hole putting green and private cinema.

Emerald Palace Kempinski Dubai will further offer a choice of function rooms and business facilities, including the 612m² Grand Salon Maximilian ballroom, which can be used for weddings, events or family gatherings.
