Bespoke reveals plans for Brooklyn-inspired hotel in Manchester
Bespoke Hotels has unveiled plans for a new 191-key boutique hotel in Manchester, set to open in the spring of 2020. Joining Bespoke’s 60-key Hotel Gotham in the city, Hotel Brooklyn marks the latest step in an ongoing investment scheme and the brand’s deepening relationship with Manchester.
“We are tremendously excited to be deepening our relationship with the city of Manchester, through the launch of a new boutique property in its centre”, comments Graham Marskell, Managing Director of Operations for Bespoke Hotels. “We have enjoyed an extremely positive response from the local market since launching Hotel Gotham, and we hope to maintain this momentum when Brooklyn opens its doors in early 2020.”
Currently under construction, Hotel Brooklyn will feature 191 guestrooms, events space for up to 220 people, as well as a panoramic rooftop bar titled Brooklyn Heights and restaurant named Runyon’s. In homage to the Golden Age of New York City and the promise of the New World, Hotel Brooklyn will seek to become a hive of theatricality and energy.
Guestrooms and Interiors are being designed by Squid Inc, who previously worked on Hotel Gotham, whilst construction is being overseen by Marshall CDP, another Hotel Gotham holdover.
“Alongside its sister establishment, Hotel Gotham, Brooklyn is poised to take a starring role in Manchester’s luxury hospitality portfolio”, explains Robin Sheppard, Chairman of Bespoke Hotels. “It isn’t merely offering a bed for the night, but rather access to a hub of untamed, creative energy, flanked on all sides by the city’s dynamic nightlife and glamour.”
