Vita Copenhagen unveils Furniture Feelings

Lighting design firm Vita Copenhagen has unveiled its debut furniture collection, a versatile and multifunctional series featuring clean lines, graphical elements and a focus on details.

Its centrepiece, the Reader armchair, has been designed with a special curved shell inspired by traditional Danish crafting techniques to help reduce surrounding noise. With light form and bold organic curves, the angle between the seat and backrest ensures maximum comfort, while a spacious seat accommodates for different sitting positions.

Featuring a solid oak frame, the armchair displays a warm natural character, enhanced by a palette of Scandinavian colours chosen for the upholstery. The upholstery itself is easily replaceable with interchangeable cushions, while the shape of the cushions have been designed to slightly expose the armchair’s shell, placing extra focus on the wooden details.

The Furniture Feelings range employs tactile packaging solutions, reducing the effects of transportation on the environment without compromising on materials or design principles.
