Designjunction talks programme revealed
Ahead of its September launch, Designjunction has announced its new talks programme based around the shows theme of Where Design Meets.
Taking place at a co-working space The Office Group in Kings Cross on 21-22 September, the two-day event will offer a series of discussions and debates with high-profile designers and creative brands.
Highlights include a presentation from RIBA and renowned architect Arthur Mamou-Mani, who will share his knowledge of running an architectural practice, providing insight into how architects can use their design skills to diversify their business model.
In a panel session entitled Where Design Meets Materials, Tina Norden, Director at Conran & Partners, will chair a discussion exploring the diversity of materials and how design practices and research studios are experimenting with both technique and approach to design.
Encompassing 14 sessions, each talk aims to engage on topical issues around the show’s theme of ‘Where Design Meets’, exploring how design encounters different sub-topics including Where Design Meets Workspace, Architecture and Digital.
Running alongside the talks, Designjunction will present more than 200 brands and smaller cutting-edge design labels to an audience of design professionals and consumers.
