Dream Hollywood opens doors

Dream Hollywood, a 178-key property anchoring the revitalisation of Los Angeles’ Hollywood neighbourhood, has opened its doors. Located on the corner of Selma Avenue and N. Cahuenga Blvd, Dream Hollywood’s interiors have been designed by the Rockwell Group and pay homage to Los Angeles’ mid-century modern architecture.

Balanced by garden-inspired elements and plush upholstery, the scheme seeks to blend the chic and the comfortable, and features a unique façade designed by LA-based Killefer Flammang Architects.

Comprising 178 guestrooms and suites, the hotel includes an 1,800ft² Guest House suite with private screening room and 360-degree views, an indoor-outdoor double-height lobby with retractable Nana Walls, and an 11,000ft2 rooftop pool, restaurant and lounge.

A 1,000ft² gym and wellness program designed by celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson also features alongside an activated pedestrian alleyway that serves as a public gathering space, linking the hotel to its adjacent dining and nightlife offerings.

Five restaurant and nightlife venues, operated by the TAO Group, are further located within and adjacent to the hotel. Designed by the Rockwell Group, venues including The Highlight Room, Beauty & Essex, TAO Asian Bistro and Avenue feature alongside the Studio Collective designed Luchini Pizzeria and Bar.

Set to open in the autumn, Dream Hollywood will also offer 3,000ft² of dedicated meeting space created to reflect the vibrant, forward-thinking mindset of the surrounding new entertainment industry hub. This series of dynamic spaces can accommodate a wide range of events, including meetings, exhibitions and gala dinner banquets with a flexible multi-use layout and striking double height lobby.

Next to open in Dream Hotels’ expanding portfolio is Dream Nashville in the historic Printers Alley. Set to feature 169 upscale guestrooms and six F&B venues, Dream Nashville is on track to open in late 2018, marking the fifth Dream Hotel to open in the U.S. and the seventh worldwide, with six more locations currently under development.
