Cox London unveils Belgravia showroom
Bespoke sculptural furniture and lighting designer Cox London has unveiled a South Belgravia showroom, the brand’s first. Located on Ebury Street, the showroom is in the heart of the Pimlico Road design district, which for the past forty years has been home to interior designers, art traders and antique dealers.
The space has been launched in time for Cox London to showcase its new collection of lost wax cast bronze furniture and lighting, designed by founders Nicola and Christopher Cox in their North London studio.
Christopher Cox comments: “Both Nicola and I have always been in love with Pimlico Road, so naturally it was where we had always envisaged the opening of our first showroom. For nearly forty years it’s been home to the most interesting art and antique dealers alongside exceptional interior decorators. I believe we straddle the gap between both contemporary and antiques, bringing something new to the area.
The Cox London duo are trained sculptors, bronze founders and antique metalwork restorers. Each creation is infused with deep-rooted knowledge of traditional techniques, with inspiration often drawn from the natural world and the history of art.
