Dukes Dubai opens doors
Dukes Dubai, located on the west trunk of Palm Jumeirah, has opened its doors. Combining opulent luxury with British values, the property marks the first international property for Dukes under the Dukes Collection umbrella.
Comprising 279 guestrooms, including 64 suites and a ladies-only Liberty Duchess floor furnished by Liberty Fabrics, Dukes Dubai provides corporate travellers and holidaymakers alike with a luxury property underscored with old-English charm.
The hotel’s signature Great British Restaurant outlet is headed up by Executive Chef Martin Cahill, and serves brasserie-style cuisine, whilst the property’s Duke’s bar is notable for its extensive selection of Martinis.
“I currently divide my time between London and Dubai which has given me great insight into the pent-up demand, expectations and trends of British travellers,” comments Debrah Dhugga, Managing Director of Dukes Dubai and Dukes London. “I am confident that our offering will not only match, it will exceed their expectations.”
Further offerings include a private beach, views over the Dubai Marina skyline and temperature controlled infinity pool. Several additional food and beverage outlets will launch in the coming weeks, including the first international outpost of Khyber, a traditional northern Indian restaurant, as well as a cigar lounge.
